FreedConn is a company dedicated to producing Bluetooth intercom systems for helmets. For better operation and connection of the device, TCOM-SC is equipped with Bluetooth 3.0 which supports HSP (Headset Profile), HFP (Hands-Free Profile), and A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) profiles, which use Bluetooth devices, such as tablets, smartphones, MP3 Players GPS, etc.
It also has a Digital Signal Processor (DSP) which ensures better voice quality even at high speeds using the echo & noise cancellation methods.
Another advantage of the device is the switching between different functions such as calling, intercom, and music playback, whether it is done via Bluetooth or through the built-in radio. For example, a user can accept a call on his mobile phone and after it is completed he can continue talking to the other users of the group.
The TCOM-SC is suitable for most helmets on the market. The base included in the package can be adapted even to other sports helmets. The design of the device and its base is solid.
The device is waterproof so that it can cope even in rainy conditions.
The TCOM-SC is available in a version with and without a microphone arm, so it can be adapted even to helmets that are not full-face.
