Projection technology is how the light from the projector’s lamp is converted into an image to be projected through the lens onto a surface. This particular one is of LCD technology and its lamp is of the LED type, which has a longer life but less brightness than ordinary lamps, but with good color rendering.
This particular technology takes its name from the initials of the words Liquid Crystal Display. The image is created by 1 liquid crystal panel which produces combinations of the three primary colors: red, green, and blue. This results in very good color rendering even in black.
